Why is there no discussion here ABOUT business?

It appears to me people are still posting their advertisements about their online businesses (in this forum), and not talking about their EXPERIENCES with them. Sometimes it seems to me this whole online business thing is not about support at all, it is about desperation and making money without regard to people -- try to get as many people to your site, but if they have questions, ignore them, and just promote more stuff -- and suddenly we are lost in this huge, empty world of money without questions, human interaction, or even a sense of good quality of product or opportunity.

Will anyone reply? Or is the only reason we're here to make a buck?

I understand the magnitude of the need for exposure in one's online business opportunities. I'm working with that. I've been marketing via one website to the tune of about 15 million emails, and have had NO RESPONSE from them (perhaps a few hits, but I really have no way of knowing). Some are, no doubt, duplicates. But this seems pretty ridiculous to me. I even wonder of the emails they claim they're sending are actually getting sent. But how does one stay encouraged when this is the response to 15 million emails?

I am sure I need to explore a vast number of other resources.

But I would guess that the answer I get here is this:

"Check out my website and the FREE information I have for you about online marketing -- it's the best thing you'll ever do and it will do WONDERS for your online business!" I know you will probably make money from me linking to your FREE information. And who knows, I might do it or I might not.

Or you will offer something to me for money.

Which is fine. You have a right to do that.

But I am looking for people who really want to talk about this, and not push their marketing scheme on me. Are you that person?

You are right. Most people are only interested in advertising there business.
This site is for talking and helping others in the home based business,

And newbies need a place to learn more about business rather then just seeing a post.
My experience with business?......I've only been in the online business for the last couple months and I have seen many, many offers, checked out a lot of home opportunities, been in a few that never really worked,
but finally...after what I feel was s struggle,...I believe the time was well worth the patience,
taking 1 step at a time, struggling, working hard, learning all I can as fast as I can,....now I feel the Eagle has finally

I love people who are sincere about whatever they are doing and I like this posting. That I why I joined when I got here. I want to let you know that anybody that refuse to answer your question about his business is not geting any income and will not reveal to you the secrets of making money in that busines if you join under him or her. What I do is that I ask you question and and see the genuity in you before I join under you. Otherwise I look for somebody else. Further more, if I am not clear I go to this site to clear my doubt: MY IM REPORT CARD. If you like you can join or just bookmark and be using it as well

I will check this out. I had stopped looking at this site because, well -- just being busy, and not having seen any responses after I opened this thread, I figured all the site was about was advertising and marketing. I realize that's necessary, but it is now quite nice to know that there are a few who have asked similar questions.

I will take a look...I am pursuing many things and feel a bit scattered...I need to focus, for one thing. I think I'm in a hurry and yet I realize that these things take time.

I'll take a look at this, too. I admit I'm frustrated -- I have sent out those several million emails and have gotten nothing and I'm thinking, "What's this all about?"

So is what you offer any better?

And why do you think so? I'm not being a skeptic here, I'm just wanting to know. And what I find is that in regard to so many of these opportunities, there's no one to really talk to and ask about how it works, or what they've done that has been most helpful to them, or to talk about the millions of emails and why they don't work, etc. So in a sense, I'm feeling like I'm out here floating on the sea of all these folk who are marketing businesses that they haven't even seen as successful, in hopes that they will find success. And after all the money I've spent with no results, I don't really have the money to start up something new anyway, LOL!

Also, with my frustration, if someone asks me how MY offering is working, I can't say, "Yes! Get involved! It's great!" when it's not. Although I still believe that my own pursuits are well worth pursuing -- I don't select things without taking a look first, and I pick what really feels legit and solid to me.

It seem that way for me also when I first joined Network Marketing,But I learned a few things the hard way and still do some times and I guess I will a few more times,But 1 thing I did learn was to get in 1 good business and not jump around to 10 different other ones,That's why I picked Global Domains International or aka GDI, I know there are probably millions that pay faster,but once I've built this it will be here for years to come,and it's like being in a family,you build relationships with your downline ,plus in only costs $10 a month,something everyone can afford.I have a few other programs but they all promote my GDI and that's it. So many people send you their ads and I know they just want people to join them also,but unless we pick one and just build on it,we just end up jumping around and never working or never making money on anything ,then we give up and say Online Businesses don't work. GDI is so simple even a ten year old could do it! I'm not here to just to tell you about GDI,but it is about building relationships with your downline and they'll stay with you if you stay focused on 1 business and not move from one to another,I'm not saying you do that,but others that read this also might be.I hope you read this,but you might not come on here again,but those that do read this,I'm no expert by no means,but I know this helped me. I am new here and your question is one of the reasons that I joined. And what you stated is everybody trying to promote their own business. That is so true in just about anything you do own the net.

Most people would rather promote their business to you instead of actually listening to see if you may have something to help them benefit in their marketing.

You and a few others feel the same I see it's not all about the money it's about building relationships and sharing knowledge with one another.

I was told that social networking was to be the next place to be on the Internet but I have come to the conclusion that it is worse then safelists and Traffic exchanges in those you see open advertising and know what to expect in social networking you join to make friends and network together but it's the very opposite. As you stated everyone promoting to you through the back door.

I myself look for honest people to network with and to obtain the same goals together.

One of the things that I have found out if you see the same people joining every social netwok there is stay away because they aren't earning and don't have a clue how to.

There seems to be a lot of ads about different email programs that claim to send out millions of emails. I think that comes close to spamming.

I think building relationships is key.

Finally, I think it's also helpful to have some type of support system: business mentor, business coach, etc. Being a business person is something that is taught and learned.

You got that right,some of them email companies say they send them to millions and I just don't believe it cuz I am a member of one that is suppose to increase your opt in rate by 1500% and I have yet to get an opt in.

I am a newbie very new just about a month old trying to figure all these mess and bull, trying to know and learn where the rope begins.
